A Ukrainian school leaving certificate (11 years of education) is not sufficient to gain direct access to higher education (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung – HZB) in Germany. Therefore, in most cases, applicants must complete a Studienkolleg to become eligible for admission to a German university.

Studienkollegs are preparatory colleges that provide subject-specific and language training. The courses are categorized based on the intended field of study:

S/G course: Humanities, languages, arts, and social sciences

T course: Engineering and natural sciences

W course: Economics, law, political science, sociology, psychology

M course: Medicine, pharmacy, biology, sports, agricultural sciences

7. SEPA direct debit mandate for motor vehicle tax collection, either with a bank card (including a copy), a bank confirmation, or (blacked out) bank statement. If the account holder is not the vehicle owner, the account holder's identification document (including a copy) is required.

8. In the case of representation, a power of attorney, and the representative must provide the original document, while the grantor must provide a copy of their identification document showing its validity. Unnecessary information (access number) should be blacked out on the copy of the electronic ID card.

9. For vehicles from non-EU countries, a customs clearance certificate must be provided.

10. Proof of ownership (invoice, purchase contract, etc.) and a translation if necessary.

For registration by minors, additionally:

• Disabled person's ID or driver's license of the minor.

• A vehicle can only be registered to a minor without disabilities if the minor holds the appropriate driver's license for that vehicle.

Was ist zu tun beim Todesfall in der Familie?

Der Tod eines nahen Menschen ist immer eine emotionaler Ausnahmesituation, die nicht nur den schmerzlichen Verlust und Trauer nach sich zieht, sondern ist mit ganz vielen Formalitäten und einem hohen Aufwand verbunden.

Hier bekommen Sie den Überblick, was bei einem Todesfall zu bedenken und zu erledigen ist.

I. Beim Todesfall in der Familie oder zu Hause muss zuerst eine Ärztin oder ein Arzt verständigt werden, die / der den den Tod feststellt und den Totenschein ausstellt. Die Gebühr dafür beträgt ca. 80 Euro. Bei Sterbefall im Krankenhaus wird der Totenschein durch das dortige Personal ausgestellt.

• Wichtig: Der Totenschein wird benötigt, um die Sterbeurkunde im Standesamt der Kommune beantragen zu können.

II. Beschaffung einer Sterbeurkunde spätestens am folgenden Werktag nach dem Todesfall beim örtlichen Standesamt: In NRW kann diese als "Sterbeurkunde“ oder als „Auszug aus dem Sterbeeintrag“ oder als „Bescheinigung über die Zurückstellung eines Sterbefalles“ ausgestellt werden.

• Benötigt werden:

  • Totenschein

  • Geburtsurkunde der verstorbenen Person

  • Personalausweis/Reisepass

  • Wenn verheiratet: Heiratsurkunde oder Familienstammbuch, außerdem ggf. Sterbeurkunde des verstorbenen Ehepartners bei Verwitweten

  • Wenn geschieden: Scheidungsurteil

  • der eigene Personalausweis/Reisepass

Es ist hilfreich sich mehrere Sterbeurkunden ausstellen zu lassen, da diese für viele Formalitäten benötigt werden (Versicherungen, Arbeitgeber etc.).

• Wichtig: Für manche Länder benötigt man die Urkunden mit dem Apostille-Stempel (z.B. für die Ukraine), damit die Einfuhr des Leichnams ins Heimatland erlaubt werden kann.

• Die „Bescheinigung über die Zurückstellung eines Sterbefalls“ ermöglicht die Bestattung des Leichnams in der Ukraine, ist aber kein ausreichendes Dokument für die Regelung von Erbschaftsfällen.

• Um das Begleitdokument des Generalkonsulats für eine Urne mit Asche oder einen Leichnamssarg eines verstorbenen Bürgers zu erhalten, muss man an Werktagen mit den Originalen und Kopien der folgenden Dokumente (mit Übersetzungen ins Ukrainische) zum Generalkonsulat kommen:

III. Bei Bestattungen im Ausland, z.B. von ukrainischen Staatsangehörigen:

A). Für die Überführung (Repatriierung) des Leichnams eines verstorbenen ukrainischen Staatsbürgers in das Staatsgebiet der Ukraine sind folgende Voraussetzungen erforderlich:

• Beschaffen zuallererst eines der in Abschnitt I aufgeführten Sterbedokumente.

• Beschaffen eines „Leichenpass“ beim Standesamt.

• Anbringen des Stempels „APOSTILLE“ auf

• - das Original der Sterbeurkunde („Auszug aus dem Sterbeeintrag“ oder „Bescheinigung über die Zurückstellung eines Sterbefalls“);

• - das Original des „Leichenpasses“.

• Beschaffen der „Erklärung zur Vorlage der Zollbehörde“ über das Nichtvorhandensein von fremden Anhängen/Gegenständen im Sarg mit dem Leichnam des Verstorbenen.

Diese Erklärung muss die folgenden Angaben enthalten:

- Name, Vorname und Sterbedatum der Person, deren Leiche in den Sarg gelegt wird;

- der Zinksarg ist hermetisch verschlossen;

- es befinden sich keine Fremdkörper im Sarg.

Übersetzung der folgenden von deutschen Behörden ausgestellten amtlichen Dokumente (Sterbeurkunden und für die Überführung des Leichnams in die Ukraine erforderliche Dokumente) ins Ukrainische

- Sterbeurkunde („Auszug aus dem Sterbeeintrag“ oder „Bescheinigung über die Zurückstellung eines Sterbefalls“) mit dem Siegel „APOSTILLE“

- “Erklärung zur Vorlage der Zollbehörde") Bescheinigung/Erklärung über das Nichtvorhandensein fremder Beigaben/Gegenstände im Sarg mit dem Leichnam des Verstorbenen).

6. Der Sarg muss mit dem Siegel des Bestattungsinstituts (das die Überführung des Leichnams in die Ukraine sicherstellt) oder des ukrainischen Generalkonsulats versiegelt sein.

7. Reichen ein Original des Reisepasses des verstorbenen ukrainischen Staatsbürgers, beim Generalkonsulat der Ukraine in Düsseldorf ein, um den Tod der genannten Person in Deutschland zu vermerken.

B). Für die Überführung (Repatriierung) einer Urne mit der Asche eines verstorbenen ukrainischen Staatsbürgers in das Staatsgebiet der Ukraine sind folgende Voraussetzungen erforderlich:

• Beschaffen zuallererst eines der in Abschnitt I aufgeführten Sterbedokumente.

• Beschaffen :

• - Erklärung/Bestätigung/ Nachweis des zuständigen Bestattungsunternehmens über die Einäscherung der Leiche des Verstorbenen und die Versiegelung der Urne mit der Asche des Verstorbenen.

• - „Erklärung zur Vorlage der Zollbehörde“ über das Nichtvorhandensein von fremden Anhängen/Gegenständen in der Urne mit der Asche des Verstorbenen.

• Diese Erklärung muss die folgenden Angaben enthalten

• - Name, Vorname, Sterbedatum der Person, deren Asche in der Urne beigesetzt wird;

• - die Urne ist frei von jeglichen Fremdkörpern.

3.  Anbringen des Stempels „APOSTILLE“ durch das Konsulat auf

- das Original der Sterbeurkunde („Auszug aus dem Sterbeeintrag“ oder „Bescheinigung über die Zurückstellung eines Sterbefalls“).

4. Übersetzung der folgenden von deutschen Behörden ausgestellten amtlichen Dokumente (Sterbeurkunden und für die Überführung des Leichnams in die Ukraine erforderliche Dokumente) ins Ukrainische
